 The Microsoft Corporation will be making its new Windows Vista operating system available for sale and download online, a different approach for the software company, which had previously sold only Windows products on packaged discs or pre-loaded and installed on computers.
The downloadable program, which was announced by Microsoft in mid January, will also include the Office 2007 line of software, but the download options will only be available to North American customers.
